It’s time to plan that camping trip you’ve been talking about! If you’re still not sold on packing up and hitting the road, stay tuned and hear all about Lindsay and PJ’s trip to uCamp and Clint’s trip to Davis Mountains.

uCamp Rally Fun

PJ and Lindsay started their journey to uCamp at the Austin airport to get to Sugarcreek, Ohio. Now, they have a unique experience at the rally every year. Not only do they get to enjoy the family atmosphere that comes with the uCamp rally, but they also work the 4-day event. The team at nuCamp puts in tremendous amounts of effort to ensure this is a special rally filled with good food, great conversation, and some of the coolest teardrop campers out there! Additionally, the staff at the rally are extremely kind and always eager to help.

Immediately walking into the Winklepleck campsite, you can see the love that was put into each unique teardrop trailer. From frog-themed campers to Star Wars graphics, you’ll be in awe at the attention to detail and thoughtfulness that was put into these tiny trailers. On top of that, these teardrop trailer owners always invite you in with open arms! Because of this, we took the opportunity to snap some photos of the unique graphics we saw across the campground.

Davis Mountains Exploration

The stars at night are big and bright deep in the heart of…. Davis Mountains? Clint and his family packed up and headed to the Davis Mountain State Park in West Texas.

Not only does West Texas have great sunsets and sunrises, but it’s also one of the best places in Texas to look at the stars. If you ever find yourself out in Fort Davis, Texas, you’ll want to check out the McDonald Observatory for some amazing views. While you’re there, you’ll also need to take advantage of the rich history Fort Davis has to offer.
